Course Objectives The aim of this course is to gain adequate knowledge and skills about the types of bacteria, virus and fungi, and how to apply the tests to identify them.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Explain types and properties of bacteria.
  • Explain types and properties of viruses.
  • Describe diagnostic tests to identify bacteria.
  • Classify tests used in the diagnosis of viruses.
  • Explain types and properties of mold and yeasts.
  • Classify diagnostic tests to identify yeast and fungi.
